Olum's Return/Exchange Policies

Furniture & Interiors Policy

Subject to inspection; unopened merchandise with the exception of Special Orders, will be accepted for return for credit within 3 days of a customer accepting product. Any assembled or modified items are unable to be returned.

Any customer accepting merchandise that is not fully satisfied with their purchase must initiate, and be granted approval of a return, within 3 Days after taking possession of merchandise. This includes product that does not fit. Measurements of delivery pathway (exterior and interior) and product measurements are the sole responsibility of the customer. All approved returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee and will be deducted from the original purchase price. Delivery/Install/Set Up service charges are non-refundable. Any merchandise that needs to be retrieved by Olum's will incur a fee up to a full delivery charge for this service. All furniture will be examined before any credits are made; furniture must be clean, free of defect, pet hair, smoke etc...

Special Order Purchases cannot be returned or credited. On occasion a Special-Order product may be approved for return if the product can be returned to the manufacturer. In this instance, Special Order products are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. Once a special order has been placed, it is non-cancelable and will incur the subjected restocking fee.

Customer’s delivery fee is non-refundable. A re-delivery fee will be incurred for reselected product.

We reserve the right at any time to fix, repair, or replace your furniture at our discretion and in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty.

Any item purchased during an Olum's Event promotion (ex. Tent Sale, Parking Lot Sale, Sidewalk Sales etc...) labeled as: open box, used or serviced, as-is, closeouts, while they last; All sales are final and will not be accepted for return.

Please refer to our 90 Day Comfort Guarantee (below) for details and restrictions.


Appliance Policy

All exchanges/returns must be approved by Olum's management. Authorized exchanges/returns will incur a minimum 20% restocking fee.

Appliance purchases may be returned for a credit under the condition that; it is returned in the accepted condition, merchandise must have all the original factory packaging, able to be returned to stock or sent back to the manufacturer. Any fees that are incurred as a result of returned product to manufacturer will be charged to the customer. Special Ordered Appliances excluded. All purchases must meet these qualifications and be returned within 3 days of the purchase date. Any items that involve Olum's delivery service for unwanted merchandise will be charged up to a full delivery charge.

Items missing anything such as: factory packaging, owners-manual, registration card, or parts will not be accepted for exchanges, returns or credit.

Appliances that are accepted at delivery, should be inspected by the consumer. Any merchandise that is hooked up and used will not be accepted for return. If your product is determined to be defective at time of delivery, Olum's will provide authorized repair in accordance to the manufacturer’s warranty. Returns will only be accepted if approved by the manufacturer.

Any product that is requested, Any appliance (except special orders) that is ordered inaccurately (ex. sizing, colors, fuel type etc...) and has been delivered will be subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. If a re-select is made due to one of these errors, a new delivery fee will be charged.

Delivery/Service fees of any kind are not refundable.

Any Special Order such as: built-in refrigeration, wall ovens, cooktops, range-tops, range hoods, hood blowers, dishwashers, are not returnable.

Any product that a customer receives at no charge due to a manufacturer’s promotion will be unable to exchange/return merchandise. At Olum's discretion, we will assist on a case by case basis with each customer to get authorization on an exchange from the manufacturer should this situation arise.

Rebates are honored by the manufacturer. Olum's is not responsible for Manufacturer or NECO consumer rebates. Denied rebates will not be paid out by Olum's for any reason. Rebates provided to customers are solely their responsibility. We may assist with following up on information regarding rebate submissions by providing phone number or e-mail.


Electronics Policy

TV's and audio components will be accepted for full refund when returned in unopened original condition. Returns must be initiated and completed within 3 days of original purchase.

Any damaged or defective merchandise will be serviced or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion. Customers must contact the manufacturer directly in such cases. Olum's will assist in providing customers with phone numbers and proof of purchase as needed.


Outdoor Equipment Policy

Merchandise that has been accepted by the consumer that has been opened, used, or modified will not be accepted for return. No outdoor equipment product can be returned due to defects. All defect and repair issues must be handled through the manufacturer. Examples of outdoor equipment are natural and LP gas grills, lawn mowers, snow blowers, pressure washers, or any other equipment that uses gas or oil.

Outdoor Equipment is sold with a manufacturer’s warranty. Any repair must be performed by an authorized service center. Olum’s is not authorized to service Outdoor Equipment. Olum’s will provide a list of Service Centers to our customers.

If your item is in need of repair, consumer will need to contact the manufacturer for an authorized servicer. No returns will be accepted for defective product.


Vacuums Policy

Returned vacuums will be accepted for full credit when they are brought back in unopened original condition. Returns must be initiated and completed within 3 days of original purchase.

Vacuums are sold with a manufacturer’s warranty. Any repair must be performed by an authorized service center. Olum’s is not authorized to service Vacuums. Olum’s will provide a list of Service Centers to our customers.


*Olums reserves the right to inspect, review and deny any return. Olum’s reserves the right to repair/replace product under the manufacturer’s guidelines and discretion.

90 Day Comfort Guarantee (Bedding)

A new mattress purchase can be a significant investment. We, at Olum’s, believe our customers should be happy with their mattress purchase. We also know there are instances when a new mattress just doesn’t meet our customers’ satisfaction after sleeping on it for 30 days. We want you to be confident in your purchase, which is why we offer a 90 Day Comfort Guarantee.

During the life of your previous mattress, your body and sleep habits have adjusted to a gradual loss of support. It will take 30 days for your body to adjust to the support and comfort of a brand new mattress.

If after 30 days (from date of delivery) you decide you are not satisfied with your selection, Olum’s will allow you to re-select a replacement as long as it is done before the 90 Day Comfort Guarantee expires. If the replacement is equal to or less than the original mattress, there will be no additional charges. If the replacement is more, you pay only the difference in price.

In order for us to offer a 90 Day Comfort Guarantee you MUST buy a mattress protector from Olum’s with your new mattress. All returned mattresses must be clean and free of any stains in order for us to return them to the manufacturer or donate to a local charity. The 90 Day Comfort Guarantee is VOID if there is no mattress protector purchased with the mattress. A good quality mattress protector will protect your investment for years to come, and is an important part of a healthy night’s sleep. A mattress protector shields your mattress from perspiration, dead skin, allergens, and dust mites, all of which significantly decrease the expected life of a mattress. In addition, a mattress protector will keep your mattress free of stains and soil which voids the manufacturer’s warranty. Mattress protectors available at Olum’s are washable, and come with a ten year guarantee. Your sales associate will be happy to help you find the right mattress protector for you.

Olum’s Comfort Guarantee does not cover matching foundations, box springs, or adjustable bases.

There is no Comfort Guarantee on close-outs, floor samples, or mattresses purchased at the Clearance Center.

Due to the nature of its unique size, California King is excluded from our Comfort Guarantee. Please be sure that you in fact need a California King.

There are no returns on mattress protectors, pillows, sheets, or other bedding accessories.

Unfortunately, Olum’s is unable to offer refunds on any bedding products. Only the mattress will be exchanged under the Comfort Guarantee and any difference in price is the responsibility of the customer.

There can be no verbal changes to this Comfort Guarantee.

There is a limit of 1 comfort exchange per purchase.

Please make sure your receipt shows a mattress protector along with the mattress in order to validate your Comfort Guarantee at the time of sale.

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are non-refundable. A pick up fee will apply if arrangements are made to return an in-stock piece.

Non-returnable/Non-refundable Items

  • Labor, assembly, delivery, and installation services
  • Fabric protection
  • Items stated to be sold "AS IS", including but not limited to "Floor Samples" and merchandise from the Clearance Center
  • ALL merchandise from the Clearance Center sold "AS IS" without guarantee, unless otherwise noted on sales receipt
  • Special Orders
  • Merchandise delivered or picked up over 30 days ago (excluding Bedding 90 Day Comfort Guarantee)
  • Merchandise opened, used, or damaged
  • Delivered upholstery once left in the home
  • Bedding not meeting the requirements of the 90 Day Comfort Guarantee

Restocking Fees

  • A 20% minimum restocking fee will be applied to returned in-stock items
  • If applicable, additional delivery or pick up charges will apply

Clearance Center

This return policy excludes ALL merchandise from the Clearance Center sold "AS IS" without guarantee, unless otherwise noted on sales receipt.

Layaways

All layaways must have a 20% deposit. Payments must be made monthly.

  • Electronics - 30 days maximum layaway
  • Appliances - 3 months maximum layaway
  • Furniture - 6 months maximum layaway

*Note: Special Orders on Layaway must be PAID IN FULL before the order will be placed with the manufacturer.*

Any cancelled Layaways will incur a 10% cancellation fee. *Special Orders are non-cancelable once order has been placed with the manufacturer.*

MAGIC CIRCLE CREDIT

You must be 18 years or older and have a valid photo ID to apply for Magic Circle Credit. Magic Circle Credit offers 6 months interest free financing on all furniture and bedding purchases, 90 Days interest free financing on Appliances and Electronics. Magic Circle Credit accounts can be financed up to 24 months with applicable finance charges. Magic Circle Credit payments can be made at any location or online at Olums.com. We accept credit/debit cards for deposits and account payoffs. We do NOT accept credit cards for monthly payments. View additional financing policies at Olums.com/financing.

Olums.com Errors

Olum's makes every effort to ensure that the information displayed on Olums.com is accurate, complete, and up to date. In spite of our efforts there may be instances where product or rebate information contains inaccurate or incomplete data. Olum's makes no guarantee that the content of Olums.com is error-free, complete, or up to date. We reserve the right to correct errors and/or update the content of Olums.com at any time without notice. Olum's also reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, which contains an error or inaccuracy, including after the order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed, and payment processed. If your order is cancelled after payment has been processed we will issue a refund for the full amount charged.

Rebates

The manufacturers not Olum's offer all rebates displayed on this site. They are subject to the terms and conditions specified by each manufacturer, including qualifying purchase dates, quantity limitations, and eligibility of combining offers. Please save a copy of all paperwork submitted for an offer in case you need to contact the manufacturer regarding your rebate. Olum's cannot be held responsible for unfulfilled rebate claims.

Olum's Best Price Promise takes the guesswork out of getting more for your money! We beat your Best Price or you get $100! Our $100 reward means that we will beat any price before you buy. The competitive offer must be new, crated, same model, include delivery and same services (where applicable) from an authorized dealer within our Trade/Delivery area and be substantiated with an invoice or an ad currently in effect. This offer does not apply to mail orders, the internet, manufacturers rebates, going out of business sales, one-of-a-kind, or limited quantities sale, or when items are not available at the retailer. Under these conditions, before you buy, if we don't beat your best price, we'll pay you $100. A check will be mailed from our corporate office.

Privacy Policy

Olum's respects each and every one of our customers' right to Privacy. At no time will any personal information given to Olum's (i.e. name, address, phone number(s), email address, purchase history, etc.) be sold or transferred to any other party. We have built our reputation on service and taking care of our customers beyond their expectations, and we will continue to provide these levels of service for many years to come.

Online Orders

If you place an online order, our secure order form requests contact, billing, and financial information (credit card account numbers). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and information about our company to you. Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you regarding the status of your order. The financial information collected is used ONLY to process payment for the products ordered.

Surveys/Mailing List

We maintain a previous customer database email list and run contests in which we ask for contact information. This information is used to contact winners and provide information about our company. No contest information entered on this site will be shared with other companies. The customer's contact information is also used to contact consumers when necessary, such as product recalls or service issues. Users may choose not to receive future mailings from us by deleting their names from our list.
