Great looking LG set bought Oct 2021. Both the gas dryer and washer work well. They are as quiet as expected and clean/dry loads well. Wife loves the large capacity to wash multiple bed sheets at once. The only issue so far is thin laundry sheet pillow case etc have gotten caught underneath the agitator. I had to by a 18 socket extension bar so I can loosen the agitator to free the sheet/pillow case. Happened 3 times so far.

Water Guzzle on Bedding Cycle

We purchased this washer/dryer set Dec. 2020 and very happy with delivery install. However over the course of 2 years this washer has become a water guzzler. I setup a water usage alert on my home water meter and every time we do a load of regular wash it shows 70+ gallons of water used. When using the bedding option it uses well over 100 gallons per load. Was not doing this in the first year of use. Also theres no information on how to troubleshoot this issue. Other reviews showing much worse things but all in all this LG product is overly expensive for this type of performance.

A person buys new appliances so they wont have issues evidently that doesnt apply in this case. We asked for a refund and was told we would have to go back to the store they would have to refund thats not right they didnt produce the product. Very dissatisfied with service and product

Our new washer is great no problems at all the control center is so easy to use love the glass top wasnt sure about that but have noticed it does stay clean after a wash cycle. Great purchase. Also have 50 inch LG TV 4 years old and not a single problem with that either. All future electronics will be LG for sure.

I am approaching one year with this wash machine- the only issue to come across is i lost a button from my pants in between the drum and the wall- causing it have a load error. Tech found it showed it to me and then we were able to remove the stuck button. I run approx 4-6 loads a week between normal clothes bedding and sports equipment- i chose LG because every other product i have used or seen from them work excellent. and are easy to use.

Needs repair after 1.5 years of normal use

After 1.5 years of normal use by a family of 4 this washer is making a loud noise that needs repair. I bought this appliance because it came with an LG promotion for an extended manufacturers warranty note that this is a manufacturer-provided warranty and NOT from a 3rd party. Shortly after purchase I applied for the warranty as directed and received a confirmation email. Further issues arose when I called LG to arrange the warranty service. The need for the repair was confirmed by an LG customer service agent. I have been getting the runaround by LG ever since speaking to that first agent. I spent over 2 hours on the phone and was continuously transferred to different departments and asked to call alternate numbers. I ended up speaking with 7 different people These agents ranged from being unable to help to downright rude. So I decided to contact them via the LG email form. Guess what? They referred me to another departments email form The saga continues - and Ill update this review if it ever gets resolved. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this appliance due to it needing repair after 1.5 years of normal use and the terrible customer service from LG who wont honor their own warranty

Great capacity but...

The washer/dryer that we bought are good. Two things to consider 1 If you need the door of the dryer reversed it opens from the left side then have them do it before it is delivered as it is more than simply two hinges. 2 I could not get their app to work. I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with LG tech support. They escalated it 5 days ago but no one has called me back.

We have had this washer now for about a month and I must say it is by far the best washer we have owned in years. It is quiet when it washes cleans very well and the spin cycle spins based on the weight in the washer. It also spins the water out leaving the clothes damp this not only drys faster but will save your dryer life in the long run. The washer does not use a lot of water which is nice extra water means higher water bill.

Looks pretty but does NOT wash properly

Weve had this high tech washer for a few months and have never been satisfied with its capabilities. Clothes come out dingy at least the whites which we can see. We can only imagine that all clothes are the same way. We have called it in twice and the technician says theres nothing wrong with the machine. We have used all the cycles to no avail. Very disappointed with this product and will never purchase LG again.

Our previous LG washer broke down within a few years and we had to replace it so these experiences shake my confidence in LG products. The local repair contractor was difficult to work with. They kept changing information provided got confused about the repair dates they set and in one case just didnt show.

Cleaner Wash

I bought my LG washer about a month ago. It has a 10 year warranty on the motor This time I purchased one with an agitator which washes my clothes much better Its a quiet washer and it does a great job. Im very pleased. I will buy an LG dryer once my current one dies on me. Its a different brand.

Good looking washer that functions great

We have had our LG washer for over 2 months and have been really pleased with it. Love how it cleans the clothes and how nice it functions with the LG app and Google Home. We get alerts when cycles are done and it also coordinates with our dryer which settings the load should use.

I bought this in 12/2020 the power will not turn every it may 10 minutes or more to get it turn on. We bought the 5 year warrantey with it and have been trying to get service since 6/7/2022 they said it will 7/7/2022 before they can work on it. That is poor service

Amazed at the cleaning that comes out of this machine once we figured out how to use it?. Needs to have more water in the normal cycle use the deep fill now to get water over the clothes. Other than that this machine cleans excellent and has tons of room for bed spreads and blankets

Had it for less then a6 months and had to have the panel replaced Water wouldnt reach the correct levels and the detergent/softner wouldnt get all the way rinced out because the levels of water not working right

Liked it for the year that it worked

Bought this washer and matching dryer in 2/2021. Worked fine. Was a step up from the machine I had. In 5/2022 the power button stopped working. I called LG customer service to set up repair. The service call could not have been more unprofessional. At the end the repairs would cost more than a new machine and would still have to wait for parts. My year old machine was hauled of when I replaced it with the simple machine I had before. So disappointed. When I reached out to discuss this with LG it was a very disappointing process. Needless to say the Big Box store I purchased it from later told me that this was a common problem with LG products and their customer service.

Have owned this washer now over a month and love it. So much quieter than my front loader was. Love the turbo feature. Clothes usually done in 30 minutes.. Pleasant song when cycle is done. Thought it would be crazy to have an app for your appliance but have actually used it. One negative is I always have to change the temperature setting. Default is warm and I wash most clothing on cold.

We purchased the kitchen appliance package about 4 years ago refrigerator stove and dishwasher because of the Consumer Reports rating. We were very pleased. After checking Consumer Reports and the current experience we have with the kitchen appliances we purchased the LG washer and dryer set. To date I love it Its more efficient and quieter. I am also amazed how large the capacity is.

LG agitator top load washer

A few weeks ago I purchased the LG top load washer with agitator to replace my 10 year old LG top load washer. I wanted something to match my dryer which fortunately is still working so far. I really like the agitator feature that my other washing machine did not have. Also the wash cycle seems to be faster than the previous model.

Very difficult to operate

If you can figure out how to operate the machine without a guide it would be a miracle. You cant just put in the exact type of wash you want. If you do it negates other features you want it to do. It decides for you what to do there is no way to override it. The only info you get in the guide is how to sort laundry Really? Usually delivery men show you how to work a new appliance. It was raining so they dropped ran. Frankly Im unhappy I made this purchase. This also pertains to the dryer as well. Customer service could not even help to direct me on how to operate the machine. Too complicated for me cycles are too rough long even on the delicate cycle. Over an hour to do a load of clothes? Who has this kind of time? Found out my sister has the same machines she feels the same way.

I bought this washer a month ago. Its very quiet device. It full up with water to my satisfaction. I have purchased 3 washers and sent them back since May of 2020. This is the best by far. Everything about is to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend. A little more pricey but definitely worth it.
