I bought this 6 months ago and have been disappointed. The first one delivered would not wring out clothes remove detergent or adequately drain so Lowes delivered another one. This one too has the same issues. The service tech although very nice and wanting to help could not figure out. My clothes are wet sudsy and smelly. Ive even tried increasing my water temperature. I do not recommend this washer.

LG Front Loader with wifi

I decided on the front loader because I wanted it because we put a butcher block countertop on it. I worked at Home Depot and our appliance guy said that the washer that we were buying was highly rated with good reviews. So far we are extremely satisfied with our purchase. I downloaded the app and lets you know that your wash is completed. I have owned LG washer and dryer in the past and had no issues with it at all.

I bought my LG washer and dryer brand new because I live in a rural area and its important to me to have reliable quality laundry machines. Ive owned previous iterations of this unit and loved it. Unfortunately the washer stopped functioning after only 8 months. Luckily I have a warranty on it and their customer service has been good so far but Ive already lost two weeks of functionality and am of course disappointed by this.

Anyway some of the features are not easy to understand the instructions are partially available in videos. Ive had the washer for 4 months now and it does a great job cleaning and spinning the water back out of clothes. It also runs very quietly. Compared to other washers Ive had the spin cycle and water pump are super quiet. The one issue I had was clothes getting stuck in the front gasket but it was replaced by LG under warranty with an upgraded one. I also really like the smart feature as it lets you know when its done when youre not near it

Great Front Load Washer

We purchased another LG Front load washer with all of the bells whistles as our last LG front load washer lasted over 15 years with only one minor service call. When our old LG front load washer finally died we of course called out a local repairman to find out if repairs were possible and evaluate those repair costs over a new purchase. The repairman was asked point blank by my wife which brand front load washer would he buy based on all of his experience repairing washers? He did not hesitate he said LG. He continued and said our current LG has lasted 15 years that should tell you something So after researching we purchased a new LG front load with all the whistles bells. Have had it for 1 month now and it has exceeded all of our expectations. Extremely quite and does a fabulously job. In fact my wife I have both noticed that our king bed comforter that gets abused by two large Golden doodles with mud grim from the backyard gets cleaner and brighter washing it with the same products as before. The only difference is this new LG washing machine as it obviously cleans and does a better job than our last champion LG. YES WE RECOMMEND LG

Took a little while for me to adjust from a top load with agitator washer to a front loader without one but Ive been so pleased thus far. Was worried that without the agitator my clothes wouldnt be as clean but have been pleasantly surprised otherwise Gets clothes superbly clean. I bought 1 month ago. Would never recommend. It is SO loud during the spin cycle. It sounds light a freight train coming through my house. I sent a video to LG and had a repairman outboth say it is normal. I does not seem normal to me It is level and still so noisy. I also bought the pedestal which is too short to have detergent and softener bottles stand up. They have to lay on their side. Very poorly designed. Wish I would have done more research before purchasing.

Great Dryer

It works great. They still havent solved the auto dry function. Clothes come out wet on Auto. We solved this by using the timed dry setting. Other than that it has good capacity. Well done LG.

LG front load washer

I bought this washer a month ago. I thought I did my research but sadly I didnt research in the right places. This thing sounds like a rocket ready to launch into space every time it hits the spin cycle. After MULTIPLE calls to LG they sent a repairman out who said the noise is normal for LG and will actually get worse with time. I also purchased the pedestal which I am very disappointed in. It is not tall enough to keep the detergent bottle upright. I dont buy a huge bottle - just an average size. I hate that it has to be on its side in the drawer. I did try to go back to Lowes with my concernthey cared almost as much as LG. Overall Im very disappointed and wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Bought washer and dryer in October 2022 I previously owned LG washer and dryer for for 13 years and they were Awesome. Never a service repair. So I went with what I knew and I Love the front loaders. I did not buy set because you can run them through an app. Good thing cause I cant get either washer or dryer to connect to app. But all in all I am happy with my purchase. Am in the market now for fridge and range. Checking out LG right now. Never regretted my last purchase and the way these are built I dont think I will be regretting this new purchase.Also added the lifter drawers cause I use them as side by sides.Love the extra storage and height.

Didnt think I would like a smart washer so much

I have had the washer almost a month and love it. I went with this because I wanted it to last and wash well and consumer reports had it rated high in those areas. It has great features and washes great. I love that it can do diagnostics and reminders for cleaning etc to make it last. The investment is not small so I hope this lasts for many years. It is quiet and gets the job done. My only complaint was difficulty setting the wifi but thanks you other customers youtube videos I am set. I will certainly be looking to LG for other appliances as this is my first but so far a great experience.

Had to buy this because I bought a house with an LG washer and dryer and upon move-in discovered that the washer had issues that necessitated a replacement even though it was 5 years old and used very lightly by a couple who lived in the home only part-time during those years. The drum was not spinning in the right alignment and the washer was walking all over the place during the spin cycle. The tech who came to look at it told us that 5-7 years is a typical lifespan for a front loading LG washer and that LG no longer even makes 2 of the 3 parts he would need to repair it. I would love to see more support from LG in terms of replacement parts rather than having to upgrade to a whole new machine. I hate to see a relatively new machine end up in the landfill. In terms of the new LG washer we got Ive used it for 2 months and it seems fine but aside from what I already mentioned above we cannot stack it with our existing dryer or even use it with the pedestals we have on hand which is a bummer. It would also be great to see more mix and match stackable / pedestal options from LG. Right now it feels like theyve backed you into a corner and youre forced to buy a whole new washer and dryer both if one thing goes wrong and you want to continue to have stacked machines or use your existing pedestals.

We love our new washing machine. The wash cycles are a little longer than previous wash cycles with our old washing machine but the clothes seem to be coming out dryer leading to shorter dry times. I love the app that lets me know when the clothes are done too.

LG 4000 Washer

Purchased 3 weeks ago and am very satisfied with it. Our clothes are not very dirty therefore I love the 25 minute wash cycle instead of 70 minutes. Love the load-sensing feature. However when contacting technical support at LG I had a very patient and kind man help me setting up the Wi-Fi without success. He was suppose to call me back later that day to see if I got it working. He never called back I have yet to call tech support back. Little frustrated.

Problems after a few months

I purchased this washer to replace my previous LG washer that I loved. It worked fine for the first few months but then the tumbler started shaking wildly and leaked for each load no matter the size. Im guessing that one of the support brackets/pistons came loose and results in the washer taking longer since it has to slow down every time the drum spins out of control/forces the door to open. I eventually contacted LG to repair it since the leaking became worse on January 1st of this year and Im still waiting for a repair date to be set currently under warranty. Ive dealt with a lot of issues due to the extended warranty. I have and miscommunication issues between LG departments. Im also surprised that the warranty does not cover replacements only repairs concerned about the integrity of my current machine. I LOVED my older washer and I must admit that Im disappointed in my current machine which is supposed to be bigger and better. My current predicament will make me hesitate before I purchase LG products in the future. I hope that my washer will be repaired soon
