Great RV AC in Aliner Camper

Great little window air conditioner

This was one of only a couple available that would fit in my narrow window. I decided to go with it because of the LG brand reputation and the angle of air flow which was perfect for my low nearly floor level window. It is PERFECT Puts out really cold air and is quiet. Easy to handle and easy to install yet it is very powerful in the cooling department for a unit this size. Guess I just got lucky as I selected this LG only on a hunch with no knowledge or recommendations from anyone......but glad I did.....and just proves that even a blind squirrel can get lucky once in a while and will find a prized nut. LOL

One year of use regular basic cleanings deep clean. That said it happens to magically be out of its warranty period and required a disassembly. This design is ridiculous. The filter is only in one section so only part of the air is being filtered. Might as well just be for show. I honestly would have never purchased this unit had I known it EASILY harbors moisture and the filter is pointless. Keep this in mind when searching for an in window air conditioner. And DO NOT use bleach only hydrogen peroxide as this will not damage your unit.

Love the remote to adjust the temperature up and down. When I am out of the house I put it on Energy saver. The extra pieces to put in the window behind the 2 curtains is very beneficial to keep out extra light and heat. Lightweight enough for one person to install. Filter is an easy to access front top load. Sound level is as expected and easy to get accustomed to. The cooling capacity is better than expected under the condition of a high-80s high humidity outdoor temperature. Convenient drain-plug to drain the unit. Remote works at least 12 feet away. Rusting in one month. Poor Quality

I purchased the LW6017R unit to replace a older unit. Very impressed with the performance of the unit. It cools our master bedroom perfectly It has 3 speeds so you can quickly cool the room. I run on low at night quietly keeps the room cool. We purchased around 6 weeks ago temperatures got 100 for a couple of weeks. Southwest Texas desert heat is brutal kept us cool and comfortable without spiking our electricity bill. Unit is awesome only complaint is about the remote control. It has no temperature reading only up and down buttons. You have to go over to the unit to see what the temperature is set on. Great price great unit

Hot in the Connecticut Tobacco Valley in Summer

I bought my LG AC at the beginning of the Summer knowing it was going to be a hot one. I have an LG TV and it is the best TV I have ever owned. So I figured the ACs must be good too. I live in a duplex and my part of the house is not large and I mostly need the AC at night. Well I was right. I sleep like a baby cool and comfortable. The thermostat is perfect and keeps my bedroom at an even 66 degrees all night long. I have a northern breed dog - a Finish Lapphund - and he pretty much lives by the AC most of the time. The LG Customer Service Line is always available and the people are wonderful. I will continue to buy more LG products as time goes on.

Cool Breeze

I bought this to put in my He Shed. I use the space as my air brush painting studio. It can get hot here in Maryland and this little unit keeps my 8x8 foot space nice and cool. Without this unit I would not be able to enjoy this space and I would highly recommend you buy this for your small spacen. I need a small unit due to the size of my small window opening and this fit nicely if your debating weather this has enough cooling power for your small space there is no need to worry. Oh and if your worried about noise.....dont its quiet as can be.

A perfect fit.

I like the temperature control it is not on all the time. I will switch to the temperature control. It is better than a swamp cooler you dont have physically turn it on and off. The clean air filter comes on regularly just rinse the filter and turn the light off. I am so glad I have this specific brand and make I can trust it to last awhile.

I had never had an AC w/venting from top. Not that thrilled in that I would prefer it blowing straight ahead and not up. When it is very humid there are droplets of water near vents and on top where it is attached to window

I bought this lg brand because it was a really good price. I also bought it because I wanted to upgrade from a 5000 btu to a 6000. So glad I went with this in particular brand. Its really quiet easy to install and it cools really nice. When I put this one on energy saver it cool so good it will reach the desired temp and shut off like its supposed to

I purchased this unit for a small bedroom. I had been given a used with the same design with different brand. It cooled great. Also like the design. More of it sits inside and puts less load on the window.

This unit came up short on a number of counts

When installing I was not able to extend the aprons to the full 35 width as specified - I had to close the gap with plastic. Unit is noisier than expected and based on my most recent electricity bill may not be saving me much money compared to the older air conditioner it replaced.

First one did so well i bought another.

Very happy with how first one keeps 12x15 room comfortable. I purchased and model for second floor 10x12 room. Even on 100 degree days each one keeps spaced comfortable. I dont expect Ive had temps but neither space was above 75. I would recommend this item.

Mostly quiet

We bought this unit for our camper. It cools fine and has a dry setting that keep the humidity down with out freezing us. I wish it had a constant fan setting during dry it would be nice. The constant on and off wakes us up at night.
