Door beeping ruins the whole fridge experience

This fridge is generally a fine fridge however there are some major flaws. First the door alarm goes off after 1 minute and then every 30 seconds after and there is NO POSSIBILITY to shut it off. Id like to clean my fridge without the sound of a constant beep happening but unfortunately its never going to happen. The ice machine is sub par and produces very little ice. Even if I press ice plus the ice machine is always lacking. Im so frustrated by the beeping door - youd think there would be an option to temporarily shut it off- especially in instances like putting groceries away or for cleaning purposes.

Lots o space with great features

My new LG refrigerator was delivered last week and I absolutely love it. Its the first new refrigerator Ive had in more than 20 years. I was so disappointed when I saw two small dents on the front right door. But LG made it right by replacing the door. It looks so nice and I must say LG was so easy to work with. We have a great appliance with water and an ice maker. My first but not last print proof stainless steele appliance. We were very pleased we got it on sale. Now Im inspired to buy an LG electric range and hopefully a microwavetoo. This is the first time I bought an LG appliance thanks to my son who made the suggestion. He is an owner of many.

Not the best assembly

Ive had this refrigerator for a couple of years. It has always had frost build-up on the outer edge of the bottom freezer door. Ive called support about it who told me that it may be that something is blocking the gasket or the side or the gasket just needs to expand with time. What? Anyway I discovered what is causing it. There is something like weather stripping on the frame below the top freezer drawer. On the side that gets the frost it was damaged during assembly so there is an air leak. I contacted support who couldnt find the part number in their inventory so referred me to their research team which turned out to be an outside company that couldnt help either. I would love this refrigerator if it didnt leak and if customer service was more helpful. This was my first LG appliance and I am in the market for several other appliances but based on this experience I will probably be looking at another brand.

Nice to look at however the main shelf in the fride slides out very easily. There is nothing for it to grasp on to hold it in place. HORRIBLE NOTE: We had another black french door LG before this and the quality was much better more solid and worth the money. We should have had that one fixed.

Love the double-drawer freezer

We have had our LG refrigerator for a few weeks now. It is actually cavernous inside. There is a lot of space and the ability to configure shelves to fit your needs. The only downfall is that the water in the dispenser is not cold. It is just room temperature.

Bought this 4 dr refrigerator about a month ago and really really like the spaciousness. I live quite a way from the grocery stores and I like to stock up on my groceries when I go to Costco. Not a fan of LG

The refrigerator is not cooling and our food is spoiling. We are a family of 5 functioning with 3 children and a problem serious enough that our milk is quickly souring is NOT acceptable. It is under warranty only had it 100 days or so. LG is not getting a service person to come out its been weeks. They should have given us a return on it They obviously dont care about their customers.

Turns out to be a sort of good investment so far as long as I dont want to use the water and ice maker features. Sorry cant say the same for LG parts help. My refrigerator came with a damaged water supply hose. After countless hours on the phone with LGs virtual assistant and actual people at their parts supplier I still havent even been able to figure out the proper part number to order a new one Parts people dont think it exists

Great LG French door refrigerator

Simple and effective 7/30/2023

I bought this refrigerator two years ago and my wife is very happy that the ice and filtered water dispenser has not broken. What my wife likes the most about this refrigerator is how the filtered water dispenser was discreetly placed inside the refrigerator versus being outside the french door. The kids have no chance of breaking the water dispenser because it was strategically placed against the inside wall of the fridge where the kids have less tendencies to abuse the feature. The ice tray inside the fridge is another way to keep the kids from abusing the feature versus if it had been located outside the french door. The fridge works great overall has plenty of storage area for our household of 5. Happy wife happy life. Thanks LG.

Mostly satisfied

For the most part pleased with the refrigerator. Roomy and looks good. 3 things that Im not happy about. One the ice maker doesnt make enough ice even with the ice plus engaged. Two facing the door the right side wont stay open. Three one door was scratched pretty good but one is supposedly on the way.

Good Refrigerator

Ive had this refrigerator for about a month. It is performing well. It holds quite a bit of food in the doors. I like that one of the shelves can be split. The interior water dispenser works well. I wish all the doors and drawers closed more easily. The ice maker doesnt make very much ice. I wish it filled the bin more fully. If you had a number of people needing ice you would run out quite quickly.

Looks great but quit working in 4 months

Our refig stopped working did all the on line trouble shooting steps from company to no avail. After 4 calls to company and loosing all our food a tech came. Looked at it for 5 min abd said he would need to order a part. Days later the tech shows spends 4 hours refrig still does not work needed another part. Totzl of 10 days in New Mexico without a refig. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM LG

Customer service and support

The bottom freezer drawer does not close properly and no one can figure out how to get the ticket assigned to the appropriate service provider that was indicated. Each time I engage someone on a call or chat I feel victimized and regret the purchase. I dont think I will ever advise anyone to purchase a LG product unless they improve their customer support.

Bought through Costco online at a good sale price. Did not hook up the water or ice due to living the Cape Fear area PFAS in water. Has a clean look on the outside and the door selves have a ton of storage. The wife is happy with the inside layout.

The refrigerator has many advanced features including precise temperature control to all areas of the unit. Only criticism involves the ice maker location. The ice bin requires exact alignment within the freezer drawer otherwise it will jam and keep the freezer drawer from closing. It is not desirable to allow the ice bin to stay at full capacity. Unless you use a large amount of ice cubes will become stale.The ice maker shut off switch is located on the ice maker itself. It is very difficult to reach at the rear of the freezer drawer. This control should be more accessible perhaps above where the digital temperature control is located.

Not happy with ice production

Been Without Refrigerator for Over Three Week

We purchased the LG LMWS27626S in March 2022 but installed it in June 2022 when we purchased a new home. In June 2023 The refrigerator failed. A warrant claim was submitted through the retailer we purchased it from. A technician came to check the refrigerator and we were told a part had to be order. At the time this review is being written the part has not arrived and we have been without our refrigerator for over three weeks. We had to discard all food in the refrigerator and keeping basic cold goods on ice in a cooler. If this is a precursor of what to expect with this refrigerator I do not recommend this to anyone. We spent a lot of money on this refrigerator only to have it break down after one year of owning it. Buy at your own risk.

Large capacity and nice layout

Got this last month. I really love it/want to love it. But sadly I dont think it is getting quite as cold as it should especially on the doors I have a digital thermometer in the back of the fridge gets way good and cold. Its the doors that I am thinking doesnt allow the cold to stay trapped and keep things at a good temperature. I guess from opening the doors it loses coldness. The temperature in the doors will range anywhere from 43- 49 degrees.

Ive had this for less than a month. It very slow in making ice and certainly down not keep my milk cold as my last LG refrigerator. I even had LG repairman come check it out as I gave it set on 34 degrees but claim its working fine

compressor malfunctioned and no one will repair it

I purchased an entire set of appliances less than two years ago. The refrigerator stopped working almost two months ago. Mr. Appliance diagnosed the problem as the compressor but could not work on it neither could anyone else within one hundred miles of me and lg would not send anyone although they promised to. Customer service was very poor.

I love my new frig

I replaced my 17 yr old side by side with this French door two freezer drawer in May 2023. It is so much bigger than my 26 inch side by side. I love the 6-10 inch deep door shelves because the ice maker we dont use much ice daily is in the top freezer drawer. We didnt want a frig that has the ice dispenser and water dispenser on the door because we dont use them and would rather have the huge storage shelf space inside the frig. It does have a water dispenser inside the frig that not on the doors if I do want ice cold water but being a senior that water is too cold for my teeth. This frig is perfect for our empty nester lifestyle.

We purchased the Refrigerator about six months ago. So far it has performed to all my expectations. Our older fridge was smaller so we have enjoyed the extra room. I wish we had done it serval years ago. I like the freezer at the bottom with both pull out drawers and the double doors at eye level.

Nice basic refrigerator

We have had this for 2 weeks and like it overall. The only issue is the ice maker not making enough ice. It never has filled up. I chatted with customer service and he advised setting the freezer to zero which hasnt had much effect. The other thing was to reset the ice maker which we havent done yet. I do hope it helps.

What an improvement over our old refrigerator

We replaced our side-by-side refrigerator after 32 years of service and are very happy Our new LG fridge still provides lots of freezer space which seems much more accessible and with the double upper doors seems to give us even more refrigerator space. Its nicely designed including the interior water fill option. Our old one had an exterior ice and water fill but always left water on the floor in front of the fridge. Plus the new one has loads of new features. We are enjoying the new refrigerator every time we open the door
