The compressor went out on my refrigerator and I called the service department for LG. A technician was sent out right away and fix the issue it was still a little loud and he came back and put a separate piece on there and it runs quiet and perfectly now. I could not be happier and I love all the LG appliances in my home.

This refrigerator was delivered a few weeks ago and has been great. We switche to this LG model because of its clean lines and dependability. So far this is the quietest one we have owned and the dual ice makers well I never have to wait for ice. I love the Wi Fi because I can check on it because I keep my medications in it.

Had I known there was a recent class action law suit on a very similar model there would have been no way I would have purchased this. We got 3 years out of the compressor before it died. They offered to fix it with no charge but our local repairman says this will keep continuing. He said he sees more LG refrigerators than any other brand. He recommended to replace it instead of going through the continuous trouble of having our food ruined and them coming out to fix it. Because of the difficultly to repair this part he doesnt even offer fixing it. Im thinking he should cause hed make some good money. So disappointed. I dont write reviews but I will everywhere I can to let others know to stay away unless you want a continuous headache.

We bought this refrigerator freezer about four years ago and thought it would be a great addition to our kitchen. Our initial reason for purchasing this particular unit was the double icemaker as our family uses quite a bit of ice especially in the warmer months. However the larger bottom icemaker has turned out to be a complete nightmare after just a couple of years. It continues to spill water into the bin and freeze all the ice into one block. Ive tried some of the suggestions from LG but still nothing is working. Customer service was also no help whatsoever. I would not recommend this refrigerator freezer due to the fact that the bottom icemaker does not work Very expensive unit and not worth the money. We will not purchase another LG refrigerator freezer.

I purchased my new LG french door refrigerator in early May. I love love my new refrigerator. I love how the compartments are set up. I love the separate wide cold meat/cheese compartment. I especially love the freezer section and the separate pull-out for other frozen items such as vegetables. And of course the water/ice cube dispenser on the door and the separate ice maker below for when I have large gatherings.

I had my first LG French door fridge for over 13 years and loved it. I finally sold it with my last house instead of moving it AGAIN TN to VA to WA When I bought my latest home SD now it needed all new appliances so I naturally went with all LG throughout fridge dishwasher range microwave washer dryer Approaching a year and loving them. I do have some glitches with the ice maker in the door but I found a handy YouTube video that showed me where the reset button for it is. My mom was looking for a new fridge last week and she decided to get the next model up from mine she opted for the see-through door from the same vendor. Long story short I really like LG appliances and will purchase again.

Love this refrigerator Roomy with ice on the door you have a lot more space. Ice and water in door work perfectly. Actual ice cubes not a bunch of broken chips. Large freezer holds a lot of food. You can turn off the ice maker in freezer section and just use the ice in the door. Thats what we do and then can turn on when having a party or just need more ice. Very nice feature.

I have owned this refrigerator for almost 4 1/2 years. For the most part it has functioned well. The ice maker is prone to problems doesnt handle my towns higher water pressure well requires frequent cleaning of hard water deposits. Last month the compressor died a poor showing less than 5 years for a modern refrigerator. Apparently this is common enough that the good people at LG agreed to have it repaired at no cost to me - very nice. The downside was waiting for the parts to arrive and the repair to be done. In all the fridge was inoperable for 18 days which really cramped my 1st-world privileged lifestyle.

This one appears large but it is small as it does not have any flexibility with the shelves previous fridge we had was eqiuped with aa foldable shelf to make more space for milk etc. Now we fit only two gallons of milk on the door and that is it. The water dispenser continues to dispense water with a chemical smell and aftertaste. I have called several times and trie dot explain I have purchase d already 3 water filters to see if any can remove the bad taste. So far no positive results and I am on filter number 3 or 4.

Great fridge - loved it for 4 months and then it stopped working. LG offered to send a technician to repair it but not for A WEEK after it stopped working. What are we supposed to do for a week without a fridge? Do they do that on purpose so you just call a private repair? Extremely disappointed. This was our first major appliance purchase - our next one will not be LG.

Purchased this fridge 5 months ago and love the size storage water and ice dispenser BUT here I am following the loud annoying squealing noise in the middle of the night. What to I fun? Its the darn fridge. Apparently they are susceptible to compressor issues and I think thats whats happening. Will be calling for warranty work.

I am so happy that I bought this fridge. It replaced my prior LG refrigerator. Compared to the old one this one has lot more space inside and is designed better with extra shelfs on the doors which gives more space inside. Also the freezer has better storage and is designed better that the older one.

We brought this refrigerator the end if last year it fit in the alloted space perfectly. Love the color wide doors and lots of space inside keeps the food great and we have noticed how much longer things keep before you have to throw it away. But to be honest we are not throwing things away like our last refrigerator. So this is a win win product. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because we have had an issue with the water part but we have been given ideas to try before someone might have to have a look why the water and ice are tasting nasty.

The majority of the functionality is good. Unfortunately the connector for the water filter has a fatal design flaw. There are several YouTube videos on this topic. LG is fully aware of the problem. They sent me a video on how to fix it myself with a needle nose pliers and a screwdriver. It didnt work. But the issue should not exist in the first place. If they can build a refrigerator they should be able to build a sturdy connection for a water filter.
