Unprofessional Customer Service. Did not address this issue of product was delivered damaged. If they had looked at the serial number they would have seen this product was returned and resold to me. CE3600041 I paid full price and the pedestal also was missing the divider and screws to install it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCASE WHIRLPOOL

Drawer doesn™™t shut once installed. Even installed extra rubber spacer and still won™™t shut. I know this one is supposed to fit, and pretty sure I™™m not missing anything.

This step really isn't all that solidly built, and lets the washer wobble during spin cycle...a LOT. Also the screw holes didn't line up for assembly.

Great design for the right dryer

This unit is very solid and fits the (correct) dryer perfectly. Unfortunately, we were not well informed by the appliance salesman, and purchased the wrong Whirlpool dryer originally. Turns out that only the "front load" dryers will work with a pedestal, so we had to exchange our dryer for a different (and more expensive) model. But the end result is very satisfactory. The pedestal has some nice features, like the drawer with divider, and a finish matching the dryer.

These pedestals are a nice option but the $250 price tag seems a little high, especially after purchasing the appliance these are made for.

It's good to have additional high to load/unload clothes. However, it makes more noise when the machine is in operation

Been using the pedestal for over a month now and it's a very good complement to the dryer. Love the extra storage space it provides and the raised height it gives the washer. It makes the laundry loading and unloading easier. An extra drawer divider bar would have been nice though, so you can divide the drawer in 3 sections instead of just 2. But no big deal.

I ordered 2 of these items. They are functional. I like that it lifts the washer/dryer and no more bending. I knew I would like them. However, both arrived dented on the side. I was in a time crunch, wanted the items, and installed them. I am happy with their functionality. I was not impressed with Customers Service, who offered little assistance or care or compassion when I reported them as damaged.

I bought two of these, one for my washer & one for my dryer. They raise them up to a great level to not have to bend to transfer laundry. There is plenty of storage space in the drawer, & an adjustable divider that I really like.

Don't buy from Whirlpool direct!

The item is as described but if you buy from whirlpool directly, they use a horrible third party to deliver. This third party will usually make excuses as to why they cannot install it even if you paid the installation fee. They are lazy and make excuses that something is wrong with your washer machine or the pipes aren't correct even if my plumber already verified that everything is ok.

Installation - painful

The new pedestal doesn't match the old pedestal's height so if the washer and dryer are next to each other - they wont be the same height. Also, if u buy from whirlpool the third party JB Hunt will most likely always use an excuse as to why they can't install it even if you paid. You have to bribe them and beg for any installation at the end. Ours made an excuse about the pipes not matching but luckily we had a plumber to come back and tell him very professionally that he was incorrect. Lazy and crooked third party makes buying anything directly from Whirlpool painful.

With the pedestal for the washer and drier, it makes loading and unloading so much easier. You don't have to bend over to access the clothes. The storage is handy and helps keep items off the top of the washer and drier.

Surprising limitations

I was excited to have these pedestals installed on my washer and dryer, but once the installation crew arrived they informed me they couldn't install the pedestals. Their reasoning was pedestals can only be installed on washers that have never completed a full wash cycle. I'm pretty sure the washers drain themselves, and most have a backup method to drain any lingering water. Either way, that and the fact our laundry room is upstairs may have discouraged the installer all together.

Pedestal Problems
Ticked off in GA
7/26/2023
We bought this pedestal to go under our new dryer. The face of the drawer sticks out beyond the dryer by nearly an inch. It can be pushed back even, but pops right back out. When I contacted Whirlpool they said I could send this one back and they would refund my money. Then I would have to buy a new one at the new price which is much higher. So much for customer care.

We were a little disappointed that our old pedestals didn™™t fit our new washer and dryer, but I™™ve loved having them so we had to buy the new ones. I love that I don™™t have to bend over to transfer the laundry, and the drawer is very convenient to store laundry soap and dryer sheets and things in. Keeps thing tidier that way.

Bought two of these pedestals for a washer and dryer and only one was delivered. Reported the incident to Whirlpool who is not taking responsibility and neither will the shipping company, FedEx. Both keep stringing me along, treating me as the middleman between the two and requiring something else every time I complete what they've asked for. Very frustrating and would not buy a whirlpool product again.
