I've bought many refridgerators in the USA and also in Mexico. My new Maytag is far and away the BEST refrigerator ever. Perfect and easy to navigate cooling and temperature controls. It was a tadbit more than I would ususally pay, but it is worth every penny. The icemaker alone with huge ice cubes is special. The interior is roomy, and I love that I could remove a small top shelf for large juide bottles. The freezer with a spacy drawer on top is wonderful and stores more frozen food than other models. A+ Maytag!

My ice maker started melting after 4 months. They sent a service man a month later. It worked for 3 weeks and same thing again. The problem is the run around I get from service. The are very uninterested in getting the unit working and customer service is trained only how to read from the trouble shooting guide in the back of the manual.

We love the fridge so far. It's large enough to store our fresh food and our frozen food. The cubed ice does tend to build up, so if we're not careful and press the cubed ice button and it gets stuck, a bunch of ice spills out once we open the freezer door to see what's happening. The shelves are easy to install, remove and clean. The outside is easy to keep clean as well, so it still looks new. I like the skinny shelf, because I use it to store my eggs at the top alone so they are not at risk of being broken.The compartments are great also, because everything is organized and easy to find. The fridge and freezer do a fine job of keeping our food cool and fresh for a long time.

I would love to rate this higher. I have an older model that lasted 17 years and it recently stopped cooling. After unsuccessfully trying to repair it, we decided to replace it with this updated model based on the longevity of the previous fridge. As I said, I'd love to rate it higher but the Maytag delivery experience is making it difficult. We are on week 4 with no fridge - we are relying on a small old one we have in our laundry room. A week ago, I scheduled delivery for tomorrow, only to find out today that the delivery date cannot be met and I have to wait another week. The communication from Maytag was terrible. They confirmed my purchase and sent an email to schedule my delivery. Since I already scheduled it, the online order status shows delivery tomorrow, and I was out of town, I did not call until today to see what was going on. That's when I found out the delivery is not happening. No word from Maytag saying that this was the case - that they actually CANCELLED the delivery and I needed to reschedule. Just a vague email to schedule my delivery. Which I already did. Thank god we have an extra fridge. If I had known how frustrating this was going to be, I would have gone to a local store and just bought what was in stock. Now I know :(

I bought this exact style, 2 years ago. Its a big fridge, with extremely limited space for tall or larger items. Constantly stacking and arranging items to create space for the larger, taller items. Ice cube maker takes up a lot of fridge space. Items kept next to ice maker freezer. Fruit and vegetable drawer not deep and celery has to be placed corner to corner to fit (see marketing photo, celery on top shelf on in vegetable drawer). Snack drawer nice but takes up space that could be used to create more taller shelf space . Would I purchase again. No. Would I purchase a French door, no.

Looked good in the store and the price was reasonable, My wife loves the drawer design and how they separate your fruits, vegetables and general items. However, now that it's home; we find that water/ice unit takes up to much space. Giving you less storage room for refrigerated items (sad face). Not sure what why yet but, there's not enough water to keep the ice full or we find ourselves standing to long waiting for a glass of water.

Nice unit, but has a couple problems

Overall it's a pretty unit, but there are a couple problems. The seal on the right-side fridge door is falling apart - this started just after a year of buying it. Also, the ice dispenser has issues - sometimes it works fine, other times it makes a grinding noise and dispenses a ton of cubes and small pieces all at once, and ice ends up all over the floor.

I've had it less than a month. It is functional in most ways, with some unsatisfactory design issues that limits what I can do. The push button menu is frustrating. It could be better explained in a diagram format. I still haven't bothered to determine how to lower the freezer temperature Overall I like being able to adjust the shelves, the drawers are okay, and the freezer is nicely divided.The ice maker is a rowdy thing that can shoot out cubes and the refill is dramatic, however short lived. So far though, it is making enough ice for one person to be satisfied. I hope it works without fail for the rest of my life, but...who knows...let it last, at least, through the 10 year compressor warranty. If my review is rejected, I guess I will never know.

I think you should have sent this review the day after we received it, that's better for your customers and reply. The only flaw that we have detected so far, is the water flow. When you get water from the refrigerator, there is a small leak after you pull the glass out.

Nice size, but plastic breaks down quickly

We love the storage space in the fridge and freezer, BUT the plastic inside the refrigerator breaks down quickly! Multiple containers in the fridge door and the one of the produce bins have plastic cracked, We had to remove the plastic cover/lid for the drawer in the fridge that pulls out due to it breaking off. I don't feel that we are rough on the appliance either, we haven't had this happen with other appliances. In addition the water dispenser molds quickly and it's impossible to really clean it the way the pieces are connected. We had someone come out for other issues and when we asked them about it they said the interior door would have to be taken apart to really clean the water line and dispenser area!

We like very much the layout of refrigerator lots of space and easy to see whats all inside,also very attractive styling and love stainless steel appliances with non fingerprint finish. ice maker is on the loud side but as long as it keeps working its not a game changer,also ice dispensing is very touchy youhave to be carefull or your glass fills and before you can move glass ice ends on floor

I am please with the refrigerator except I feel that the ice maker when it is running is really loud. I have never had a refrigerator with the water and ice on the front. I'm just not sure if I like it. It is a smaller refrigerator than what I had. I couldn't afford the refrigerator like I had. When nothing is guaranteed for more than 5 years. This is so sad!

I really like this Refrigerator except for 2 things™€¦the lid to the l large refrigerator drawer keeps falling off and the ice maker is extremely noisy. The refrigerator shelves can have multiple arrangements which is very convenient. The ice maker produces copious amounts of ice which is wonderful for this large family. the Freezer drawers are roomy and slide very smoothly.
