Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Noisy and not efficient range exhaust fan

Stove exhaust fan unit 11/21/2022

We have used this over the range hood fan unit for 10 months and found it to be very noisy on the highest setting and not efficient at all the lower fan settings. Looking into getti g a different unit because we don™€™t like the house to smell like our kit hen

Love the Hood but no duct cover

SBMom 1/14/2022

We are very happy with our hood. However, it took many, many months for our appliances to arrive and when they did we discovered the hood duct cover is sold separately. It is on order now but delayed (we have been waiting 3 months and counting for the cover...latest update is another month). Hoping it comes soon so we can finally have our kitchen remodel done. Suggestion: it should be more clear on the website and brochure that the duct cover is sold separately.

Quiet and beautiful

chastain18 9/27/2021

This range hood is wonderful! It has quite a few settings and it is SO quiet. The first time my husband turned it on low I did not think he had even turned it on. I had to go across the island to hear it and I was in the kitchen with him!

Cindy in Columbus 6/19/2021

I bought it some time ago with d/w, stove, advantium oven etc Our kitchen redo took a long time™€¦ the hood is missing the flu ( you have to order it separately and they aren™€™t available!!) the hood is no where up to the high output burners on the range™€¦ my kitchen is constantly full of smoke, grease and smoke alarms blaring™€¦

Bought a cafe hood to match stove and it doesnt

Dugogol 5/28/2021

I bought a cafe stove (30", dual oven) in white. I love the finish on the stove. I chose a hood from the cafe line with the expectation that it would be the same white finish. It is not. The stove has a distinctive white finish. The hood is a pure white that doesn't match. I could not be more disappointed.

Just Beautiful!

NotDebi 5/20/2021

Who would have thought i would use the word beautiful when talking about a vent hood , but here I am ! The hood is sleek , looks amazing, easy to clean and wowza it is powerful!. I saw that people were surprised it did not have more tech like options for the controls but to be honest, i love the dials . I would rather have those over a touchscreen for a hood. The light having a couple options is nice, for evening and day. The range of speeds for the fan are more then sufficient for clearing out all the smells from your cooking creations out of your home.

Great Quality Hood

Aaron 11/11/2020

Vent hood was easy to install, works great, and enjoy the levels of vent exhaust and lighting controls. Very well done - we have our vent above the GE Cafe' 30" dual fuel range and it easily removes steam, and smells, from our kitchen even when all 6 burners are working.

Beautiful on the outside, but...

Lustrae 9/13/2020

We purchases this range hood to go with our beautiful matte white Cafe appliances. I™€™m disappointed that the controls are old-style knobs instead of digital. Also, the CFMs could be higher. This was not an inexpensive hood. I expected more.

FreeWill 9/12/2020

This vent hood may be a bit more than I need for my small kitchen but I am so happy with my choice! I have open shelving and a dependable vent hood is a must in order to keep things clean.

This is a great vent hood! I love the simplistic design and matte white color. Not to mention it works like a charm! If I have this turned on while cooking I never have smells lingering after cooking. Would highly recommend this product!

Beautiful & Quiet

Ann2020 7/7/2020

We purchased to go along with our GE Cafe range. Very easy to install and functions great. I cook everyday and wanted appliances that not only looked good but worked. And so far, all is great. We replaced our microwave/vent hood with this unit and couldn't be happier. It is much more quiet and vents so much better than the microwave/vent hood did. The light is bright. We purchased the extender due to our ceiling height. It looks good. But, wish it had an option to come in the same width as the vent itself. It wasn't a deal breaker though. Just think it would have given the vent hood an even prettier presence in our kitchen.

This hood makes the kitchen!

jennaye 5/30/2020

When we designed our new kitchen, we knew we wanted stylish and stunning appliances as well as a hood that's a showstopper. Thanks to CafÃ, that's exactly what we created! This hood really completes our kitchen. It vents incredibly well while I'm cooking. However, the feature I think we use the most is the lighting on it. We love the soft light at night in the kitchen. If you have the room for a hood, add this for sure. Coupled with the double oven, it's truly breathtaking! Hard to believe appliances can be breathtaking, but they can be when it's CafÃ!

Bright, quiet & perfect in our kitchen

Display/pics don™€™t reflect duct challenges

Lolson 5/13/2020

The duct needs to go through ceiling, addl accessory piece is needed if you want it concealed. Still not the look in most of the pics that show no duct work above the hood. Especially disappointed because we ordered FIVE cafe matte white appliances to coordinate. The duct is visible between top of cabinets and ceiling. Hood is shape/size/color we wanted. Will need to adjust design preference.
